Lotion Review
I’ve recently been using Likas Papaya Soap to help me get rid of tan lines from tanning/going to Water Theme Parks and when I visited the local Filipino Store, I found that they sold Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion with SPF 15. I thought I’d try it out!
I’ve never seen a review done on the Lotion before so I thought I’d write one ^_^ Also, I didn’t think that it would work, so I decided to take photos for my own benefit to see if it was worth it! I didn’t want to show anyone since I have ridiculously hairy arms, but I see so many people asking about a review, so here it is.

There are 2 different Lotions you can get: Blue (plain Whitening Lotion) or Pink (Whitening + SPF 15). I bought the Pink one since it will eliminate me using Sunscreen! - I used to use SPF 45+ Sunscreen but flagged it after. Besides, Summer in Australia is finally over! \o/
It smells so good and it makes your skin feel very soft. It does feel a little oily, but that goes away after a few minutes. My arms are less scaly now :)
This was my skin colour before I started using Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion with SPF 15. I took the photos on the same day of the week (monday), in the same location (in my car, on my way to work while stuck in peak hour traffic lol, no flash or brighteness adjustments).
I use Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion with SPF 15 in the morning after I shower, before and after I’m exposed to sunlight and before I go to bed.

After one week of using Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion with SPF 15. It’s starting to work! it was able to get rid of my yellow tone and brighten it to a more pinkish tone.
Two weeks after using Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion with SPF 15, I see that my skin is still getting paler.
Three weeks after using Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion with SPF 15. It’s such a drastic change! I have a feeling that the lighting (the fact that there wasn’t much yellow shining from the sun) may have contributed so I decided to wait for the following week to see if the lighting made a difference.
Four weeks after using Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion! We’ve been having cloudy days in Sydney lately so I guess the lighting again contributed to how light my skin looks… or maybe it really has gotten paler! - I do know that the Yellow tint from the sun usually give it a more yellow/light tan.
The bottle lasted me just a little over a month!
I still have a Bikini Tan Line so I know this isn’t the lightest my skin can go. I’m going to continually use this till I get the results I want ^_^ I just want an even skin tone all over. I’ve been wearing a bracelet on my arm for the past 8 years and underneath it shows my true skin tone. I’ll eventually get that!
